MASSENA -- A golf tournament to benefit Wounded Warrior Outdoor Adventures recently received a $500 boost.
The Open in Support of WWOA is an annual golf tournament which raises money to purchase outdoor and transportation equipment for disabled veterans who are participating in the WWOA program. This year’s event is Aug. 26.
Seacomm Federal Credit Union donated the cash.
The program was created by North Country sportsmen and veterans with a mission of providing Wounded Warriors with opportunities to experience the many outdoor and recreational activities available in the North Country. WWOA is sponsored by AMVETS Post 4, Sons of AMVETS 4, and AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary 4.
