The National Weather Service is predicting scattered showers and thunder throughout St. Lawrence County Friday, with dry conditions and warmer temperatures into the weekend.

A low pressure system will lift toward the east coast tonight, with a cold front moving south into the North Country Friday, bringing rain and thunder, the service says.

A high pressure system will bring in the weekend with drier weather and closer to normal seasonal temperatures, the service says.

Rain may return Sunday and Monday, though temperatures are expected to remain in the mid 70’s, according to the service.
