POTSDAM -- This year, the Potsdam area will once again participate in the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign from now until Christmas, said a press release from the organization.
The Red Kettle will be located at various local retailers, including the WALMART, Potsdam Price Chopper, Potsdam IGA and Kinney Drug Store.
Money raised at these locations will be used to assist those in need in our community.
The Salvation Army is in need of volunteer bell ringers to help out the community.
Local groups and organizations who would like to sign up for a specific date for the members of their group to ring the bell are welcome.
