MASSENA -- The Salvation Army has extended the dates for applications for their holiday assistance programs in the Massena area.
Applications for Thanksgiving will be taken until Friday, Nov. 9. Christmas applications will be taken until Friday, Nov. 16.
Applications are taken at the 20 Russell Road location, near Jefferson School, from 9 a.m. to noon.
If you are in need of assistance with food or toys (for children up to age 12) this holiday or know of any family who is, you may refer them to The Salvation Army.
