Salmon River Central School District received a $10,000 donation from East End Convenience in Fort Covington.
The donation is designated to benefit needy children in the District, and a committee will convene to allocate the funds.
“Thank you to our generous benefactors at East End Convenience for making the holidays brighter for our school district,” said Superintendent Dr. Stanley Harper. “This money will go a long way in supporting the needs of our students.”
The specific allocation of the donation funds will be determined by a committee, which will consider the needs of children in the District.
“As long as the money goes to kids who need it, we will be happy,” said East End Convenience Co-Owner Scott McDonald.
