Among the colleges applied to were: Herkimer Community College, Onondaga Community College, SUNY Canton, North Country Community College, Jefferson Community College, SUNY Potsdam, University of Northwestern Ohio, Keuka College, Utica College, SUNY Plattsburgh, St. Lawrence College, Lemoyne College, SUNY Oneonta, Russell Sage Colleges, SUNY Oswego, Daemon College, University of Albany, Paul Smith's College, Monroe Community College, Clarkson University, Algonquin College, Clinton Community College, Mohawk Valley Community College, Lincoln College of Technology, Boston University, University of Maine, Syracuse University, SUNY Delhi, and SUNY Cortland.

This year, College Application Week is Oc. 22-26. This weeklong event is part of the American College Application Campaign (ACAC), a national initiative of the American Council on Education (ACE) to provide every graduating high school senior the opportunity to apply to college.

A special focus is placed on assisting students who would be the first in their families to attend college, low-income students, and students who may have not otherwise seriously considered applying to college.
