RUSSELL -- A Russell man was jailed for attempted burglary after trying to break into Kunoco gas station, 3662 County Route 24 Feb. 19, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Travis L. Durham, 23, was charged with third-degree attempted burglary, third-degree criminal trespassing and third-degree criminal mischief.
Deputies allege that around 10:56 p.m. on Feb. 19 that Durham forced open a locked door at the gas station and damaged it.
He was arraigned in Massena court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $1,000 bail.
