GOUVERNEUR – A Russell man has been charged with two Class E felonies, accused of stealing more than $2,000 from his employer in November and December.

Craig J. Coffey, 22, 13 Lake George Rd., is accused of fourth-degree grand larceny and first-degree falsifying business records, after allegedly taking a total of $2,020 from B&S Business Services, which runs mobile automated teller machines in the county, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Detective Thomas Caringi.

It is alleged the thefts occurred between Nov. 4 and Dec. 20, 2012.

Coffey was arraigned Friday before Canton Town Justice Curley and was released to the supervision of probation authorities.
