POTSDAM – The Robert J. Frego Amvets Post 282 hosted a chicken barbecue dinner for local Vietnam veterans on May 19, Armed Forces Day.
The post served 60 Vietnam veterans and guests to thank them for their service and welcome them home.
Robert J. Frego Amvets Post 282 honors all veterans and welcomes them to come and enjoy its facilities.
Anyone who served in the Armed Forces From World War 2 to present and was honorably discharged is welcome to apply for membership,
The post is located at 6771 U.S. Highway 11, between Potsdam and Canton.
