Official primary results are in for Potsdam and Hermon.

In Potsdam, three people contended to run as Democrats for two town council seats.

Incumbent Rosemaria Rivezzi, with 153 votes, and former Potsdam Central School Board member Ann Martin Carvel, with 111 votes, won the Democratic primary. Polical newcomer Eric J. Matott garnered 100 votes.

In Hermon, Democrat voters decided Nicole S. Bacon Ward will represent the party in the town supervisor race. She received 25 votes to Lee James Carvel's 20.
