GOUVERNEUR — A Richville man was jailed on driving while intoxicated charges after getting stuck in mud on St. Lawrence County Fairgrounds property, according to Gouverneur police.
Mark W. Tripp, 32, was charged on Nov. 11 at 8:35 a.m. with first-offense DWI, refusal of a breath test and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, officers said.
Police said a tip from the public led to the arrest.
Tripp was ordered held on $1,000 bail at the time of the arrest.
