More than 60 National Grid customers in St. Lawrence County are without power this morning as thunderstorms swept through the North Country last night.
National Grid says 41 customers in Fowler are without power, the most of anywhere in the county.
Last night nearly 1,600 National Grid customers in southern St. Lawrence County and more than 1,100 in the Hammond area were without power.
Power should be restored in the Fowler area around 7:30 a.m., officials said.
Nine customers are affected in Russell and seven in Macomb, National Grid says. Less than five customers in Colton, Hermon and Piercefield are experiencing power outages too.
Power in all those towns is expected to be back on between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m., officials said.
