Republican congressional candidate Matt Doheny will be a guest Monday on FoxBusiness.com Live, an Internet-based show hosted by Tracy Byrnes.
A spokesman for Doheny says the Watertown businessman and lawyer will discuss how the federal government can encourage small business growth by scaling back or eliminating some regulations.
As an investor, Doheny once managed the distressed assets division of a Fortune 500 company, and gained insight into failing American businesses and experience in turning those troubled companies around.
The Alexandria Bay native recently formed North Country Capital, which helps startup companies. He also sits on the boards of two international companies, YRC Worldwide and BridgeStreet.
The show airs from 1 to 2 p.m. on FoxBusiness.com. Doheny is scheduled to appear at 1:10 p.m.
Doheny is challenging 23rd District Rep. Bill Owens, a Democrat from Plattsburgh, in next year's election for the seat.
