Sharlow, 34, a registered sex offender, is accused by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office of first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse of a girl who was under 15 when he began abusing her in 2010. Both counts are felonies.
He is also charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Sharlow was arraigned in front of Judge Paul Lamson in Fowler Town Court.
Deputies report that due to his prior felony convictions and sex offender status, he was denied bail.
