COLTON — Herb A. Matthie Sr. of East Hill Road was charged Sunday with failure to register an internet account with the New York State Sex Offender Registry, according to state police.
Matthie, 50, a registered sex offender, is accused of not registering a Facebook account following a Sept. 8 complaint.
Matthie is required to notify the state registry of all internet accounts, troopers said.
He was cited and released on an appearance ticket returnable to Colton court at a later date.
