GOUVERNEUR – The pre-registration deadline for children who plan to enter pre-kindergarten or kindergarten next year will be Feb. 15.

Children who will be five years of age on or before Dec. 1 will be eligible for kindergarten in September. Likewise, kids who will be four years of age will be eligible for pre-kindergarten.

An online pre-registration form is available at www.gouverneurcentralschool.org.

The school plans to host an information meeting for pre-kindergarten families in mid-March. Details will be mailed to those who have pre-registered.

Kindergarten registration is tentatively scheduled for June, and letters with individual appointments will be mailed to families that have pre-registered.
