WADDINGTON -- People who bought pre-sale tickets to the canceled Saturday night concerts at the Party in the Park are eligible for refunds.
Performances by Eliminator KC and Little Paradise were called off due to severe thunderstorms and rain, that brought hail and lighting throughout much of the county.
Event organizer Bob Giordano said ticketholders can also opt to donate their money towards next year’s event.
“The event was a fundraiser for next year’s (Party in the Park),” event organizer Bob Giordano said. “There were six free concerts on Sunday.”
He said those seeking refunds can call or text him at 323-4632 or email barrongd@aol.com.
He said he will have to verify that a person did purchase the tickets. Their refund will come as a check from the Waddington Clerk’s Office.
