MASSENA -- The American Red Cross say they are aiding a family of four after their Pine Street home burned on Wednesday.
The agency says they provided food, clothing, seasonal garments and personal care kits to Greg Baxter, Megan Jones and their two children. They also say they gave stuffed animals to the children.
On Wednesday, a fire that started in the laundry room of their 38 Pine St. home destroyed the building.Two dogs died in the blaze.
As of Wednedsay night, investigators had not determined the cause.
Meanwhile, Jonathan A. Carranza started a Gofundme page that as of late Friday morning has raised $2,000 of its $15,000 goal.
