LISBON -- Volunteers from the North Country Chapter of the American Red Cross provided emergency aid to four people after an early morning fire on Cold Spring Road.
The agency did not identify the victims.
The Red Cross says provided temporary shelter and financial assistance for food and clothing to two adults and two children, ages 2 and 4.
Volunteers also supplied comfort kits containing personal care items, and referrals to social services agencies, the agency said.
In the coming days, Red Cross says staff and volunteers will remain available to help them.
Since Jan. 1, the Red Cross says they responded to more than 250 home fires in the eastern New York region and provided assistance to more than 1,100 fire victims.
