Wet weather is in store for St. Lawrence County over the next several days, which could include some freezing rain and sleet on Saturday and Sunday, according to the National weather service.

A large and slow moving storm system is expected to impact the North Country Friday through early next week with several potential hazards. Forecasters say it’s not certain, but they have issued a hazardous weather outlook for wintry precipitation, including snow, sleet and freezing rain, which they say is likely Saturday through Sunday night, with some moderate to locally heavy rainfall possible Monday into Monday night.

A warm front approaching the North Country will bring rain to the region from early afternoon today through midnight. But temperatures will remain on the cool side through the period.
