Rain to continue through Sunday night; clear skies and warmer temps expected early next week

Rain will continue to fall on the North County today and tonight with a 90 percent chance of rain today, and a 70 percent chance of rain tonight, mainly until midnight, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs will only reach about 40 today with wind gusts up to 30 mph. Lows will be around 40 tonight, TWS says.

Monday is expected to be partly sunny with highs in the mid-50s before dropping into the 30s overnight.
