CANTON — A Pyrites man was jailed Sunday after fleeing law enforcement on foot while St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies were attempting to serve a bench warrant.
David P. Flanagan, 20, allegedly fled on foot when deputies notified him he was under arrest on a warrant.
Flanagan ran from the residence on Pink School House Road into the woods, deputies said.
Law enforcement tracked him down and found him hiding in a neighbor’s shed.
He was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest, officers said.
Flanagan was taken to St. Lawrence County Hail and held on the county court warrant, officers said.
