LISBON – A Pyrites man has been arrested following a year-long investigation into a copper theft from JMS Mechanicals in Lisbon, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Deputies.
Joshua A. Pitts, 26, 7 Pink School House Rd., was charged with third-degree burglary, petit larceny and possession of burglar's tools Tuesday.
Deputies say the original theft allegedly occurred in November of 2010, but the arrest also includes charges from an incident in October 2011 in Canton.
Pitts was arraigned before Judge Fonda in Lisbon Town Court and held on $3,000 cash or $6,000 bond.
