OGDENSBURG -- Pulitzer-winning author and historian Dr. Alan Taylor spoke to about 90 people with his presentation on the War of 1812 in the St. Lawrence Valley.
The capacity crowd from New York and Ontario filled the Dobisky Center in Ogdensburg the evening of Monday, June 3. Dr. Taylor, the author of The Civil War of 1812, is a Distinguished Professor of History at the University of California in Davis, CA.
His talk was sponsored by Ogdensburg's Fort La Présentation Association and WCNY-TV, Syracuse.
