CANTON -- The St. Lawrence County Public Health Department conducts a testing and counseling program for HIV, the virus, which causes AIDS.
Testing sites are Canton, Massena, Gouverneur and Ogdensburg. Appointments are required.
To make an appointment, call the office nearest you: Canton, (800) 561-6057; Gouverneur, 287-0920; Ogdensburg, 393-2390; Massena, 769-9921.
STD Clinics are also offered for the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STDS). Appointments are required. To make an appointment, call (800) 561-6057 during business hours.
Donations will be accepted per individual visit to help defray the cost of this program.
The suggested amount is $5. However, any amount will be appreciated.
