POTSDAM – Canton-Potsdam Hospital's Cancer Treatment Center and the American Cancer Society are holding a Man To Man Support Group for prostate cancer patients and their loved ones Tuesday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the hospital's second-floot Conference Room A.
Support groups are used to provide a comfortable forum for cancer patients, their families, and others with cancer questions to discuss their feelings and experiences.
The Man To Man Support Group is a successful American Cancer Society program targeting the specific needs of prostate cancer topics and a chance for survivors, newly diagnosed patients, and others to discuss their experiences.
Such groups allow individuals affected by cancer to interact, learn new information on treatment and prevention, and help each other cope with this disease.
