OGDENSBURG -- Two prints created by local artist John Morrow have been donated to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in memory of the late Sue Skamperle, who died in 2015.
One print was given by her husband, Dan Skamperle, and children, Anton Skamperle, Marko Skamperle and Meriam Skamperle. Morrow donated the second print.
The two prints, “Lady in Morning” and “Hard to Top,” were chosen to celebrate Skamperle’s love for the St. Lawrence River and her fondness for turtles, which she viewed as a symbol of life.
The artwork is displayed in the medical center’s radiology waiting area.
