Price Chopper Supermarkets are recalling Price Chopper coconut custard pies from their stores in Canton, Potsdam, Massena, Ogdensburg and Gouverneur due to a labeling error.
The stores are calling back their eight-inch and ten-inch coconut custard pies due to a lack of ingredient information on the label.
The pies contain milk, egg, soy, wheat and tree nut (coconut), which are known allergens.
Other than this labeling issue, the product is safe for consumption for those not allergic to those allergens, the company said in a news release.
The UPC numbers of the pies are 41735 23713, 41735 23721 and 41735 22453
The pies were sold between Aug. 11 and Oct. 18.
Products should be returned to a Price Chopper for a full refund.
