POTSDAM – Power skating specialist and coach Karen Healey will present a twice-weekly school for all levels of hockey players July 30 – Aug. 15 at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena.
Healey will work on quickness, agility, power, balance and strength. Proper technique will be the focus of all drills during the six sessions.
Hockey players will train every Tuesday and Thursday on ice for one hour and off ice for one hour each session from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m.
Full gear and a stick are required for on-ice training. T-shirts, shorts and sneakers are needed for dryland workouts.
