New York Power Authority Board of Trustees' Vice Chairman John S. Dyson, will step down from the board Aug. 5.
During his service he worked on a variety of projects, including launching Governor Cuomo’s “Energy Highway” initiative for bolstering the state’s electric power system and ReCharge NY Program, which provided lower cost power to businesses and other enterprises in return for the retention and creation of hundreds of thousands of jobs and major capital investments.
Dyson also served as NYPA’s chairman from 1979 to 1985.
