POTSDAM – The Encounter Youth Group at New Hope Community Church raised $975 for what World Vision called their s 30HR Famine to help feed hungry children around the world.
The students also collected non-perishable items from local supermarkets to help stock the food pantry at Helping Hands in Hannawa Falls.
The Encounter Youth Group meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the church at 33 Grant St.
