POTSDAM – Robert A. Porter of Misty Hollow Craft and Hobby Store, 22 Market St., will again hold his annual holiday stuffed animal and toy drive.
Donations may be dropped off at the store during business hours, or by calling 265-1660.
Porter notes he took in close to 2,000 stuffed animals toys last year, but this year the need is even greater.
He said he has learned some agencies have lost funding this year and will be concentrating on food donations instead of toys. Donations are also given to hospitals, nursing homes, police and fire departments, rehabilitation facilities, Renewal House and area Christmas trees.
Toys may be brand new or gently used.
