POTSDAM -- The sixth annual Charity Hankfest, “A Country Music Festival,” drew a good-sized audience of country music fans to Ives Park this past Saturday.
The audience of 300-plus helped raise a total of $500, which will be split between Helping Hands of Potsdam and the Ogdensburg Boys & Girls Club, according to the Potsdam Chamber of Commerce.
The charity group received some suggestions for next year and would appreciate more suggestions and support to continue its mission to host a country music festival to raise funds for local charities.
Contact President Greg Bouchard at 18 Debra Dr. Apt. 201 Potsdam NY.
Next year’s event is scheduled for Aug. 11 from 1-5 p.m.
