The Clarkson University Office of Marketing and External Relations recently received two honors for social media content from the Education Digital Marketing Awards.
Clarkson's Facebook page was named a Silver Winner and the university's Twitter feed (@ClarksonUniv) was named a Merit Winner.
A national panel of industry specialists with the Education Digital Marketing Awards reviewed social media accounts run by universities throughout the country to select top sites, according to a press release from the college.
“This is the kind of recognition that everyone in the greater Clarkson community can take credit for achieving, because we all have so many great stories, initiatives and ideas to share every day,” said Kelly Chezum, vice president for external relations.
The Education Digital Marketing Awards recognizes “the best educational websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media,” the release said.
