Potsdam’s Clarkson University again named a ‘best value’

POTSDAM – Clarkson University has been named in another “best value” web site’s top 50.

Value Colleges (www.valuecolleges.com), an independent web site ranking what its research indicates are the best values in undergraduate and graduate college education, has named Clarkson University to its "Top 50 Best Value Online MBA Programs" list.

The 2015 ranking was published at http://www.valuecolleges.com/rankings/best-value-online-mba-programs.

The web site used the cost of attending, average salary of graduates, and other “National Rankings” as its criteria for ranking schools, according to the PR Newswire press release Wednesday.

In today's news release, Value Colleges said, "Value Colleges' Top 50 Best Value Online MBA list is a guide to the online colleges and universities that give students the best return for their investment: online business colleges that provide the ideal combination of affordability and excellence, with high ROI and low debt. These online business schools represent the most secure investment for students hoping to improve their education and status with a convenient, flexible degree program."

"Any concerns about the real value of an online degree belong to the past," Value Colleges Editor Carrie Sealey-Morris reports. "Reputable, world-class institutions are offering online MBA's that have the same quality as their traditional, on-campus degree program. While some students may be concerned about lack of contact with their classmates, many of the best schools, such as those on this list, have developed innovative ways to combat the limitations of older online methods by using cohort formats, connecting students with one-on-one advisors or mentors, and providing opportunities for students to engage in the kind of networking and relationship-building that traditional MBA programs excel in."

ValueColleges.com has "best value" ranking lists for MBA and undergraduate business programs, online MBA and undergraduate business programs, graduate schools and online graduate schools, and colleges and online colleges. The web site carries no advertising so far and offers no publications or other products for sale. The site features articles to "give you a more in-depth look at the many factors you need to know to wisely choose a college."
