POTSDAM – A Potsdam woman found a man inside her vehicle in a parking lot early this morning.
Potsdam police report that the frightened woman went back to her apartment and called police at 12:41 a.m.
Officers responding found a man in the bushes near the Clarkson Inn, next to the Main Street parking lot where the woman’s car was parked.
Police said a male suspect had also rummaged through the contents of the vehicle.
Arrested was Daniel J. Lesnowski, 54, of Ogdensburg, who was arraigned for alleged attempted petit larceny and third-degree criminal tampering before Judge Garner and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
