POTSDAM -- A Potsdam woman was jailed Sunday night after allegedly kicking, punching and choking a male during an altercation on Swan Street, according to Potsdam police.
Tianqi Yang, 30, was charged at 11:24 p.m. with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing, officers said.
Witnesses told police that Yang punched and kicked a male victim multiple times and then placed him in a choke hold.
She was arraigned in Potsdam court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail on $1,000 bail.
