POTSDAM -- Videogame developer Little Red Dog Games, Inc. has launched a $15,000 campaign on Kickstarter to complete work on their second strategy game Deep Sixed.
"Deep Sixed is a science fiction space survival game for PC and Mac where players use strategy, ingenuity and duct tape to keep their spacecraft in one piece as they risk exploring a mysterious nebula protected by dangerous alien creatures," according to a statement from the creators.
Little Red Dog Games' founders Ryan and Krystal Hewer are both teachers who develop games like Deep Sixed on a part-time basis.
They hope that a successful product launch will pave the road to hire more local talent from local universities for future games.
