POTSDAM -- At its annual meeting Monday, Dec. 3, the Board of Trustees adopted several measures related to routine matters at the Civic Center.
The board adopted a resolution for official open hours for village offices as 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for official holidays.
Trustees set the reimbursement rate for official travel in personal vehicles at 54ยข per mile in 2019.
They authorized select village employees to attend training sessions and be covered for expenses such as registration, food, hotel and mileage.
The board set the dates and times of regular meetings in 2019, subject to change; approved the banks the village would use for official business and the newspapers they would use for legal notices; and officially authorized the village treasurer and deputy treasurer to sign checks on behalf of the village.
