POTSDAM -- There is concern among Bay and Hamilton Street residents that many households in the neighborhood might be violating the village parking regulations.
Trustee Abby Lee said people had told her that due to limited parking spaces, drivers were parking on the grass in front of homes, which is not allowed under the village code.
Police Chief Mark Murray said the first recourse is to issue tickets to offenders for things such as parking on the grass and across sidewalks, and to refer to the code enforcement officer repeated violations.
