POTSDAM – A Potsdam teen who allegedly used another person’s credit card and Ebay account to purchase a cell phone was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies Wednesday and charged with two felonies.

Andrew P. Deon, 17, of 165 Pleasant Valley Rd., Potsdam, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and computer trespass, both class E felonies.

Deputies allege that Deon changed the login and password to the victim’s Ebay account and then used that person’s Paypal account to purchase a cell phone.

He was arraigned in Potsdam Village Court by Justice Welch, and was released to probation supervision to reappear in court at a later date.
