POTSDAM -- Students in Potsdam raised $32.18 at a lemonade stand recently to benefit the Justice for Garrett Phillips Fund.
The fund will serve as a reward for information regarding the alleged murder of 12-year-old Garrett Phillips last that occurred last October.
Anyone wishing to donate to the fund can send a check payable to Garrett Phillips Fund to either Duane Curtis, 95 CR 29, Canton, NY, 13617, or Brian Phillips, 1127 Old Parishville Rd., Potsdam, NY, 13676.
Garrett Phillips, a well-liked Kingston Middle School student, was found unconscious and alone Oct. 24 at the Market Street apartment he and his mother lived in. Efforts to revive him failed.
The police investigation is continuing, but no arrests have been made.
