POTSDAM -- Lawrence Avenue students recently enjoyed a day of downhill skiing at Titus Mountain.
As part of their physical education program, fourth grade students received a 90-minute ski lesson, then spent the rest of the day practicing their skills.
At the end of the day, students were given a "season pass" and free rentals for the rest of the season.
The experience was funded in part by the Potsdam Educational Opportunities Fund (PEOF) and the Potsdam PTSA.
