POTSDAM – Pat Musante, Potsdam Public Library director, has died at the age of 71.
Musante was born in Pittsburgh on June 15, 1944.
She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a master of library science degree.
She married Guido “Gus” Musante in Wilmington, Del., in 1979. He died in 2009.
The Potsdam Public Library grew to have the largest circulation of any library in the Northern New York Library System, including Watertown’s library, under her leadership.
Funeral arrangements, being handled by the Seymour Funeral Home of Potsdam, are incomplete.
