POTSDAM -- Potsdam Police are warning residents of a company, which they believe is not on the up-and-up, that is offering water line repair.
Police have received complaints from residents who have received mailings from a company called “HomeServe,” offering coverage for exterior water service line repairs in the event of a leak or breakage.
Chief Kevin Bates encourages anyone receiving these mailings to regard them as a scam and not to provide payment or credit card information.
