POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Police Department is investigating how several Greek letters and signs were hung from the roof at Sergi’s building, 10 Market Dt., last night or this morning.
It appears the letters may have been taken from Greek houses locally, and police will be attempting to contact local Greek organizations to have them identify and retrieve their signage, police said.
Police got help from the Potsdam Fire Department and Potsdam Village Public Works staff in removing the letters.
Potsdam Police say anyone wanting to report their signage missing or taken or who has information about the taking of the items or placement of them can contact them at 265-2121.
