POTSDAM -- Potsdam police are hailing its first year participating in the Toys for Tots program as a success.
“The generosity and support of those who donated has made it possible for hundreds of boys and girls to wake up to brand new gifts this coming Christmas. We thank all of those who donated this season for the generosity and commitment to our community that has been displayed during this campaign. The Potsdam Police Department looks forward to contributing towards this great cause in the years to come,” a release from the department says. “We especially thank Christina Reynolds, local Toys for Tots Coordinator, who assisted our Police Department with organizing the campaign. “
Potsdam police also thanked Ronald Page, local businessman and developer, who kickstarted the campaign by donating over $2,500 worth of new and unwrapped toys to be gifted this holiday season.
