POTSDAM -- Potsdam police are investigating several reports of home burglaries and larcenies from vehicles, and they re advising people to keep belongings locked up.
The majority of the items taken have been taken from "unsecured property" -- cars and residences that were not locked, according to police.
The police are advising people to lock their residences, outbuildings, and vehicles to deter these types of crimes.
If you have been a victim, the police want to know about it as soon as possible.
If you ever suspect someone is in your home or attempting entry on your property,
call Potsdam Police at 265-2121 or 911 immediately, they advise.
