Potsdam police charge six motorists Tuesday as part of ‘Click It or Ticket Campaign’

POTSDAM -- Potsdam police said they charged six motorists Tuesday as they continue to crack down on traffic offenses as part of the statewide “Click It or Ticket Campaign.”

The campaign runs through June 4.

Those charged on Tuesday included:

• Neil D. Cassada, 20, Winthrop, was cited for no seat belt on Pierrepont Avenue at 4:18 p.m.

• Nicholas J. Clough, 27, Potsdam, was cited for no seat belt on Clarkson Avenue Extension at 4:52 p.m.

• Roy E. McCuen, 35, Canton, was cited for no seat belt on Pierrepont Avenue at 5:12 p.m.

• Maloney L. Knight, 31, Potsdam, was cited for no seat belt on Elm Street at 5:31 p.m.

• Alex L. Montgomery, 23, Sutton, Vt., was cited for no seat belt on Pierrepont Avenue at 5:49 p.m.

• Adam J. Widener, 23, Brasher Falls, was charged with non-transparent side windows on Main Street at 6:14 p.m.

All six subjects were cited and released.
