POTSDAM -- Potsdam Recreation’s participation in the “World’s Largest Swim Lesson” June 24 drew 30 people from ages 2 on up.
It was coordinated with similar events around the world.
Instructors Michelle Garrow, Aquatics Director, and Jessica Sullivan, lifeguard and swim instructor, said this event is to help raise awareness about water safety and that swim lessons save lives.
This is the Potsdam Recreation Department's seventh year participating in this event. It helps kick off The Potsdam Recreation Department's Learn to Swim Program starting Monday, June 27 at Postwood Park.
